How It Works
ZOLEO connects via the Iridium satellite network — it works anywhere on Earth. Location Share+ sends automatic position updates while active.
Route Status — 511 Yukon & NWT
Live road conditions from 511 Yukon and NWT DriveNWT for the Klondike Highway (HWY-2), Dempster Highway (HWY-5 / Hwy 8), and Inuvik–Tuktoyaktuk Highway (Hwy 10). Only closures and significant advisories are shown — routine gravel-highway conditions (dust, heavy equipment, reduced speed) are filtered out.
Ferry Status — Yukon 511 & NWT
The Dempster Highway crosses two free cable ferries in the NWT — the Peel River crossing near Fort McPherson and the Arctic Red River / Mackenzie River crossing at Tsiigehtchic. At Dawson City, the George Black Ferry crosses the Yukon River. Status is pulled live from 511 Yukon and the NWT DriveNWT map. Ferries run roughly mid-May to mid-October.
